National Honor Society (NHS) is a national organization created under the sponsorship of the National Association of Secondary School Principals with the purpose of creating enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulating a desire to render service to others, promoting leadership, and developing character in the students of secondary schools.
Eligibility*
-
Must have current record of regular attendance at Manvel High School, with the last two consecutive semesters attended within the Alvin ISD system

If you are a transfer student, a transcript must be provided

Must possess a GPA of 5.3 or higher​

Will be based upon their service, leadership and character

Any conduct that warrants suspension shall automatically deem a student ineligible for membership​

Cheating and plagiarism of any sort is prohibited, and is cause for ineligibility, whether or not the the student met with an official disciplinary consequence​
